In recognition of exemplary Public Relations, Kearney Public Schools was awarded the 2009 Golden Achievement Award by the National School Public Relations Association for our "Postcards from Kearney High" campaign. 

The campaign 'sent' postcards from students at Kearney High School to our community through the newspaper, websites, posters and newsletters.  Written in the student's own words, each postcard focused on different aspects of the high school:safety, belonging, clubs/organizations, teachers, etc..  The campaign let people know...."Kearney High School....no better place to be".
